House Helliance is a playable clan in Amans Mortis.

House Helliance was founded 500 years ago. Helliance is a fairly young clan, having been founded after the war. They are quite modern compared to older vampire clans, and are more laxe when it comes to rules and policies. They've had only two previous leaders, who are still alive but have stepped down for traveling and diplomatic reasons.

Living Leadership

❖ Arnold Graymeere - The first leader of Helliance and the last son of the house Graymeere. Graymeere had the reputation for cruelty, however, Arnold has a kinder and gentler deposition than the others of the clan. He is known for being extravagant and flamboyant, eccentric and whimsical.

❖ Sha De'Luneres - The second leader of Helliance and the one to sign their alliegance over to The Council. She was created by Arnold and was one of the first of the clan. After she submitted the house to The Council, she stepped down to take on a role as an Ambassador in other parts of the world.

Allies

❖ The Council - They've been allies for 300 years under the rule of the current Lord.

❖ Graymeere - Although the house is small, only 15 members, they have been allies for 500 years.

Enemies

❖ As of right now, none.

Abilities/Powers

❖ Shadow Walk: Common power among the members, although most can only move short distances (10-20 feet) at a time. The ability is to move from one shadowed space, to another within sight. Those old enough can sometimes stay within the shadow unseen, however, to do this requires great deal of concentration and energy.

Shadow Manipulation: Only those who are direct line under the previous Lord, Arnold, can make shadows tangible and solid. Creating tentacles or bindings, even little monsters to terrify others. The age depends on how long they can keep the shadow solid, the older they are the longer the shadow holds.

❖ Oppression: This is a unique power that seems to come with age. Those who are old and from Graymeere's line can create an oppressive feeling on their target, it will feel like the world is closing in around them, increased physical pressure, sounds will be harder to make out, air harder to breath, sight will become blurry, and in general will make the target feel like they are slowly being crushed.
