Humans have lived like they always have, with adaptability and the power to overcome against all odds. Except now they are more aware of the supernatural that live around them. For the most part, they have acclimated fine with other species. However, that does not stop the occasional hate group to form. 

Human companies are even catering to other species now, as it opens up more possibilities for consumption and growth. Some even hire those that no longer belong to a group or those who wish to be more 'human-like'. 

This is also a downside, as some protection companies are now evolving their products to deter and harm supernatural folk. For example; there is a spray, like mace, except it has silver nitrate inside which blinds and can cause permanent damage to vampires and werewolves alike. The Council is in the process of trying to ban or put restrictions on some of these items.
