Expectations ❖ polite, kind, helpful, and active on the site.
Inclusiveness ❖ we accept all people from all walks of life, we ask that you respect them. We have a zero tolerance policy on hate. Zero tolerance means that if there is explicit proof of the hate and bullying being done, its an immediate ban.
COPPA ❖ you must be 13+ years old to join proboards, if we find out that you are below that age you are immediately deleted from our site. You are welcome back after you turn 13.
Activity ❖ we expect activity from our members with all their characters. We expect one post per character every 2 weeks.
Inactivity ❖ if you plan to be inactive, you must post in Furlough. If you do not post and are not active for 2 weeks others can ghost or skip your character altogether.
Content ❖ we have a zero tolerance policy for illegal or adult content on this site. you will be immediately banned if we find out you are sharing content of this nature.
Creating Accounts ❖ we have two types of accounts, your member account which you can create at any time, and character accounts. character accounts will be created for each character but the character must be approved first.
Character Amount ❖ we allow everyone up to 5 characters, if you wish to have more you have to message the staff team and they may either approve or disapprove of the request
Advertisements ❖ please advertise in the appropriate places on the forum. if the site is 18+ please include that in your advertisement. make sure you have a link back to your site with a guest friendly area for us to advertise back.
Tracker & Application ❖ we have one board area for both trackers and applications. You will post a thread using your member account and use one thread for all trackers and applications.
Realism ❖ while this is a fantasy based role-play, we do play off realism. i.e. your character cannot have a doctorate degree at age 18 or own their own home at age 16. Extreme examples but keep in mind realism of everyday life.
Plot ❖ we have several different plots always going on which you may choose to participate or not participate in. the only plot you have to participate in is Site-Wide. you must post in a site-wide plot thread three times for each character to receive the end-month bonus.
Joining Houses ❖ as of right now, when you create your character they are already a part of the house they choose. In the future when we open up rogue/loner characters they must first gain approval by the council and then approach a house to join. Message the house/pack leader after acceptance to discuss how they joined and any history you might want to include or have them be aware of.
18+ Characters ❖ all characters have to be 18 or older. children who are born within the role-play are npc's until they turn 18. in which case they may be adopted out. There are no exceptions to this rule. If your character is bitten, they are bitten at age 18+.
Pregnancy ❖ pregnancy may be role-played out. conception and birth are glazed over and fade to black.
Time Flow❖ each thread must be within a week of the site-wide plot. you have to mention in the first post how long before the site-wide plot thread.
OOC Comments ❖ ooc comments may be at the beginning or end of a role-play post, but a post cannot just be an ooc comment.
Fair Play ❖ no god modding, no power playing, no perfect characters, your characters can and will take hits and be damaged.
Word Count ❖ we do not have a word count minimum. all we expect is readability, proper grammar and activity.
Name ❖ first and last names, last names cannot be a house name under any circumstances.
Age ❖ characters minimum age, across all species, is 18, no exceptions. Max age for werewolves and vampires is 200.
Gender ❖ all genders are allowed
Sexuality ❖ any sexuality is allowed
Face Claims ❖ we do implement face-claims, next to the character creation is the current list of face claims.
Appearance ❖ must be 150 words minimum, with correct grammar and punctuation.
Personality ❖ must be 150 words minimum, with correct grammar and punctuation.
Biography ❖ must be 150 words minimum, with correct grammar and punctuation.
Image ❖
humans: all normal skin colors and hair colors accepted. Normal eye shades, brown, blue, green, hazel, etc.
vampires: all normal skin colors and hair colors accepted. Normal eye shades, red, and black are accepted.
werewolves: all normal skin colors and hair colors accepted. Normal eye shades, yellows, golds are accepted.
New Members ❖ as of right now, the council revokes any requests for unaffiliated individuals to join or live within Edenburg. You may create members that are already apart of the clans.
Feeding ❖ there is a strict no human consumption between all species, if they find out there will be strict punishment. You may create plots in which your characters feed on humans but know that if The Council finds out then you will be subject to punishments in character.
Fighting ❖ fighting between one or two individuals of different species is tolerable, as it is bound to happen. However, The Council will not overlook large groups or targeted assaults. There is a no fighting rule within The Council Sanctum and you will be punished if they find out.
Killing ❖ the council has a strict no killing policy across all sanctums. However, if a rule is broken and the punishment is death, then the execution will be carried out by either the leader of the house or by The Council.
Relationships ❖ the council does not care to keep track or govern over relationships. However, within their own group they do not allow relationships if a member is in a position of power.
Businesses ❖ as the sanctums are made to allow others to have their own territory, they will not tolerate discrimination of business owners disallowing a certain species to enter their establishment. They view this as a threat to the peace treaty and a potential provocation to the discriminated species.
